Jumpstart Response

We target a 30-minute response. Actual arrival times vary with location, traffic, demand and technician availability.

Yes. Our technicians use professional-grade equipment designed to protect your vehicle's electronics, unlike basic jumper leads which can cause damage if connected incorrectly. We follow the correct procedure for your specific make and model every time.

After starting your car we test the battery, alternator and charging system on the spot. If the battery is worn out, we can fit a suitable matched replacement subject to phone confirmation. Eligible MS Road Assist-supplied batteries receive a two-year warranty from the invoice date, subject to invoice terms.

No membership is required. MS Road Assist is Pay-As-You-Go, with no annual fees or contracts. The final phone quote, including applicable service charges and GST, is confirmed before dispatch or work and stays fixed once accepted unless you request additional work.

Jump starts start from $99, plus applicable service charges and GST. The final phone quote is confirmed before dispatch or work and stays fixed once accepted unless you request additional work. If testing shows your battery is worn out, a suitable replacement may be available from $189 subject to phone confirmation.

A car that repeatedly goes flat usually comes down to one of three things: an ageing battery that no longer holds charge, a charging fault such as a failing alternator, or a small electrical drain leaving something powered while the car is off. After every jump start we test your battery, alternator and charging system so you find the real cause instead of guessing.

Membership services and pay-as-you-go assistance use different pricing models. MS Road Assist has no annual fee, membership, contract or waiting period. Call 1300 121 595 when you need help; we confirm the final phone quote before dispatch or work, and the accepted quote stays fixed unless you request additional work. Which model costs less depends on how often you need roadside help and the terms of the alternative service.

No. MS Road Assist is fully independent — we don't process insurance claims on behalf of other providers, and we're not affiliated with any roadside membership club or competitor brand. You deal directly with us on a simple pay-as-you-go basis, with no third party involved.
