Vehicle Diagnostics & Minor Repairs

Our technicians use professional-grade OBD2 scan tools that read and clear fault codes across all major vehicle systems — engine, transmission, ABS, airbags and more. This is the same equipment used by dealerships and independent mechanics, not a basic consumer scanner.

Selected minor roadside work may be possible, subject to diagnosis, vehicle condition, parts, tools and technician availability. We do not provide broad workshop-equivalent repairs roadside.

We diagnose engine warning lights, battery and charging faults, starter motor problems, no-start situations, intermittent electrical faults, overheating warnings and general vehicle concerns. We don't carry out major mechanical repairs roadside, but we accurately pinpoint the cause.

The complete phone quote, including applicable service charges and GST, is confirmed before dispatch or work. The accepted quote is fixed unless you request additional work.

Genuine 24/7 availability includes nights, weekends and public holidays, subject to technician availability, in our six metro service areas and established surrounding suburbs.

Membership services and pay-as-you-go assistance use different pricing models. MS Road Assist has no annual fee, membership, contract or waiting period. Call 1300 121 595 when you need help; we confirm the final phone quote before dispatch or work, and the accepted quote stays fixed unless you request additional work. Which model costs less depends on how often you need roadside help and the terms of the alternative service.

No. MS Road Assist is fully independent — we don't process insurance claims on behalf of other providers, and we're not affiliated with any roadside membership club or competitor brand. You deal directly with us on a simple pay-as-you-go basis, with no third party involved.
